Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dr. Wolfson received bachelor's and master's degrees from UCLA before moving to Northern California to study veterinary medicine.  Dr. Wolfson received his DVM degree in 1982 from UC Davis.  Dr. Wolfson enjoys all aspects of practice but has a special fondness for surgery.

Dr. Wolfson enjoys fly fishing for trout, salmon and even bass.  He and his wife, Brenda, have a daughter and 2 sons, all of whom are "up and out".   Now, in their spare time they take frequent bicycle rides along the American River and hikes in the coastal hills.
