Dr. Lara grew up in the San Juaquin Valley and received her undergraduate degree from Fresno State.  She is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine - Class of 1996.  Before joining the staff, here in 2002, Dr. Lara worked at a small animal practice in the Monterey area.  As a member of the RCCC staff, she can pursue her interest in feline and internal medicine.

When she is away, Dr. Lara enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her husband, Lincoln, and their "kids" - a cockatiel and two cats.
